This policy explains what personal information Hensei Solutions collects through henseisolutions.com, why, and what we do with it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Who we are

Hensei Solutions is a trading name of Hensei Core Ltd, a New Zealand company. You can contact us at hello@henseisolutions.com.

What we collect

• Enquiry form: your name, business name, email, phone number, business type, domain and current website (if you give them), what your business does, what you would like on your website, and whether you want Domain & Site Care.
• Approval and reviews: when a client approves a finished website we collect the name, rating and review text they choose to submit, and any changes they ask for.
• Technical data: your IP address is used briefly to limit repeated submissions and block spam. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs.
• Emails: if you email us, we keep the correspondence.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we collect it

• To reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to design, build, launch and support your website.
• To issue invoices and keep business and tax records.
• To publish your review and business name on our website, but only when you approve your website and tick the box to let us publish it.
• To keep this website secure and prevent spam.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run the website. They handle information only to provide their service to us:

• Vercel: website hosting.
• Upstash: database for reviews, “Our Work” entries and approval links.
• Resend: sending the emails generated by the enquiry form and approvals.

Some of these providers store or process information outside New Zealand, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it to a standard comparable to the Privacy Act. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and client records for as long as we need them to deliver our service and meet our business and tax record-keeping duties. Published reviews stay on the website until you ask us to remove them. Approval links expire after 90 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove a published review. Email hello@henseisolutions.com and we will respond within the time the Privacy Act requires. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Security

We protect information with access controls and encrypted connections. No online system is completely risk-free, so if we ever become aware of a privacy breach likely to cause you serious harm we will notify you as the law requires.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
