Terms & Conditions

These terms apply when Hensei Solutions (a trading name of Hensei Core Ltd, “we”, “us”) builds a website for you (“you”, “the client”). By asking us to go ahead with your website, you agree to them. Questions? Email hello@henseisolutions.com.

1. What you get

One custom-designed website of up to five pages, including responsive mobile design, services sections, contact form and click-to-call, FAQ section, Google Maps, social links, basic SEO, analytics setup, deployment and three rounds of revisions.

We build your website and give you a private preview link, which is for your review only (see section 5). A revision round is one consolidated list of changes to the website we have built, such as colours, wording, images, section order and layout adjustments. Three rounds are included. New pages, new features, integrations or a redesign beyond what is included are quoted separately, as are extra revision rounds.

4. What we need from you

You agree to give us accurate information, text and images in good time, and to make sure you have the right to use everything you supply. Delays in receiving material from you will delay your website.

5. Ownership

Once your website has been paid for in full, the design and content created for you are yours, and any domain is registered in your name. Until payment is made, the website, the preview and everything in them (including the design, layout, code and copyright) remain our property.

The preview is provided only so you can review it. Until payment is made you must not copy, publish, launch, reproduce, adapt or let anyone else use the preview or any part of it, and you must not have another person build from it. We may keep our general know-how, tools and reusable code.

6. Optional Domain & Site Care

Domain & Site Care is optional and costs $10 NZD + GST per month. It covers hosting, SSL, domain management, uptime monitoring, basic maintenance and minor technical fixes. It is month to month: you can cancel at any time by emailing us, and it ends at the end of the month you cancel in. It does not include website edits, new pages, redesigns, major changes or new integrations, which we quote separately. If you do not take it, you are responsible for hosting and keeping your domain renewed.

7. Showing our work and reviews

Unless you tell us otherwise before launch, we may show your website in our portfolio. When you approve your website we will invite you to leave a review. We only publish a review, with your name and business name, if you choose to submit it and tick the box giving permission. You can ask us to remove it at any time.

8. No guarantees on results

We build your website with care, but we cannot guarantee search-engine rankings, a number of enquiries or any particular business result. Third-party services we rely on (such as hosting and email) may occasionally be unavailable.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with your website is limited to the amount you have paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Cancelling before approval

If you decide not to go ahead before you approve the finished website, you owe us nothing for the website. We keep ownership and copyright of the preview and unfinished work, and you must stop using it.

12. General

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms; changes do not affect a website we have already agreed to build unless you accept them.
